Project Overview

Researched and implemented third-party software solution that unified and optimized key components of the product management lifecycle, including customer feedback, sales, feature development, and software engineering. This integration streamlined workflows across departments and enhanced collaboration, driving more efficient decision-making and product delivery.

Steven’s Contributions

  • Defined SOW, budget, and managed third-party vendor relationships under guidance of vendor management and legal teams.

  • Presented weekly to senior leadership on cost-benefit analyses, budget and timeline updates, as well as scope changes such as API integration with Salesforce and Jira.

  • Oversaw cleanup of extensive Jira backlog by manually reviewing, filtering, reassigning product feature requests, and creating firm SLAs on decisioning timeframes.

  • Guided phased rollout and implementation trainings to ensure effective adoption by all key stakeholder groups.

Results

  • Launched $300,000 initiative to fundamentally change the entire software product lifecycle within a global company with over 9,000 employees.

  • Closed out over 2,000 Jira product feature requests going back 5 years by setting up a weekly review with over 20 product managers.

  • Onboarded over 400 employees through a coordinated training program and phased implementation across 5 business units.
